GENERAL OUTLINE OF CALENDAR*

First Sunday      9:00 - 9:50 AM   Forum (presentation, discussion, or worship sharing on a topic chosen by Gunpowder Friends)
    10:00 AM  Meeting for Worship
                          11:00 AM   Coffee and hospitality

Second Saturday  9:00 - 3:00 Silent retreat at the Meetinghouse, simple lunch

Second Sunday   9:00 - 9:50 AM   Quakerism (a led discussion on historic and contemporary faith and practice among Friends)
    10:00 AM  Meeting for Worship
    11:15 AM  brief meeting of committee clerks

Third Sunday      9:30 - 9:50  Spiritual Literacy (worship sharing on a word or phrase of spiritual significance, provided earlier for meditation)
    10:00 AM  Meeting for Worship
                          11:15 - 12:30   Meeting for Worship with a Concern for Business (i.e., Monthly Business Meeting)

Fourth Sunday   9:00 - 9:50 AM  Bible Study (reflection and discussion on a short Bible passage, using Spears method)
10:00 AM  Meeting for Worship
                            11:15 AM committee meetings (as called by committees)

Fifth Sunday      10:00 AM  Meeting for Worship

*  Note the longstanding 11AM time for Meeting for Worship moves to 10 AM beginning in July, 2009.  All Gunpowder Meeting members and attenders are invited and encouraged to participate in all activities listed on the calendar, including Meeting for Business.  Committee meetings are generally closed to anyone not on the particular committee, but exceptions may be granted by any committee.
